What is included in this Hands-on Addition and Subtraction printable?
There are a total of 9 addition and subtraction mats. The mats can be used for both addition or subtraction, so learners can practice both concepts at the same time. The mats also allow for addition and subtraction up to 20 as well if your learner requires it.
There are a total of 120 equation cards. This allows for plenty of addition and subtraction practice. There are equations for solving within 10 and solving within 20.
Differentiation:
Differentiating this activity is very easy! Simply choose which facts your learners need to work on and provide them with the necessary mats and equation cards.
These hands-on and engaging Spring Addition and Subtraction mats can be used to practice addition and subtraction within 10 or within 20 depending on your learner's needs.

Multiplication Repeated Addition Equal Groups Booklets - 2 Facts

This multiplication 2 fact booklet can be used to help students understand the concept of multiplication through repeated addition using equal groups as well as help them memorize multiplication facts.
Multiplication Repeated Addition Booklets
This is a free download from the complete package of booklets which is available here. Check out the blog post about these booklets here.
The booklet is seven pages long and are cut into half to make a booklet that's 14 pages in total. Each booklet also contains a facts page for the multiplication fact so the student can refer to it if necessary.
The counting items are winter themed, so this is suitable for incorporation into a winter unit, however, it can be used at any time to introduce the concept of multiplication through repeated addition.
On each page students will fill in the blanks for the following details:
The booklets can be used as morning work, bell work, extra activities for early finishers, or even homework. The booklets come in one version, for front only copies.
Teaching students these multiplication foundations, is a tremendous help to students as they work on math fluency and automaticity.

Write the Fact Family: Addition and Subtraction

Practice your students addition and subtraction facts with these simple and engaging task cards. This printable consists of 12 task cards for 'Write the Fact Family' math center. These are spring themed. There are a total of 12 task cards.
The printable includes:
- 12 task cards in colour and black versions
- Recording sheet
- Answer key.
How to Use:
- Print the cards on cardstock in colour or in black and white. Laminate if desired.
- Cut the cards apart and place them at a learning center with a stack of recording sheets.
- Students choose a card and write the two addition sentences and the two subtraction sentences that can be formed with the three numbers on the cards.. They continue until they've written the fact family for each card.

How can I use this printable in my classroom?
These pages can be used as an independent activity! Each page comes with a series of number on the clams and a corresponding color for the numbers. Learners will solve the subtraction facts and find out the answer for each equation. They will then refer to the code on the top at the top of the page and color that section based on the color coding on top.
These pages can be used as morning work, homework, an independent center activity, or as an early finisher. Students will practice their subtraction facts to 20 and feel like they are completing a fun coloring page!

How do Color by Code activities help learners?

Have students practice adding sums up to 20 with this Christmas themed addition center. Students will draw an addition card and build the Christmas tree to match the addition card. Students can freely build the trees or use the mats provided. There is a recording page for students to show the addition problems they built.
