Cross and toss is a dice game that allows students to practice their addition or multiplications facts in a fun way.

Students take turns rolling two dice and add the numbers shown. Then they cover or cross that number on the recording sheet provided.

How to play:

• Students can play individually or with partners.

Roll a pumpkin game, perfect for October! Students will roll a die and the number rolled corresponds with something to draw on the pumpkin. Also included are a few different pumpkin shapes that the students can pick from. I had my students do this for 10-15 minutes and just see how many things they could add to their pumpkin. This would also work great as a math center!

Students will have lots of fun completing subtraction facts all while going around the room searching for their next clue (answer).

This is a great movement exercise to get those students moving while learning and memorizing subtraction facts.

Practice GRATITUDE along with so much more with this activity - writing, spelling, organization, healthy competition, creativity, and much more! This activity is ready to use for whatever your students may benefit from most! Set a timer and see who can list the most items, use it as a follow up activity after introducing gratitude, practice writing and spelling all of the things that mean the most to your students! Graphing Smarties was created as a fun activity for my students to complete while learning from home during the Coronavirus closure. However, the work can be easily completed in the classroom setting.

I wanted to give them a treat but incorporate learning fun too! To complete the activity I sent two packages of Smarties to each student along with the worksheet.

Two versions of the activity are included.  The first can be used in the classroom. The second has a note asking students email a picture of their completed graph to the teacher.
