The classifying plants file folder activity allows students to label the parts of plants - cells, stem, roots, and leaves. Students will also match the following vocabulary words and their meanings with pictures: parallel veins and netted veins found in leaves, soft stems and woody stems, smooth leaf margins and jagged leaf margins found on leaves, waxy texture, smooth texture, and rough texture found on leaves, and taproots and fibrous roots. The animal research craft writing project is an exciting and educational activity where students can choose from 50 different wild animals to explore and learn about. This flipbook craft provides a creative platform for students to write detailed information about their chosen animal, supported by multiple note catcher pages for jotting down key facts and observations.
