Why do you need this?

This is such a simple activity that can be utilized in so many ways!

• Have your students write a paragraph about why they chose what they did.
• Have your students move from one side of the room to another when making their selection to incorporate a sensory/movement break into your day.
• Have your students find a new friend who picked the same thing they did, or pick a partner who didn't pick what they did and have them discuss why they chose their answers.
• Have your students debate over why one choice is better than another; make sure they defend their answers (and keep it friendly).

Students will visually identify different images of candies and graph the information they find. They will use the graph to answer questions.

Based on ability level, students can use the single tens frame and the number cards to represent a given number using manipulatives. Students who are ready for more of a challenge can roll dice to create an addition problem and use the tens frames to represent and solve the addition problem using manipulatives.

This template can be used with ANY book. I chose to use Spookley the Square Pumpkin as an example. Print and go; easy to assemble with minimal help. Pre-cut the pieces for students who need it.

Celebrate World Smile Day! Print off these note card templates in whatever size and style best fits the needs of your students. Let students fill out a smile card for another teacher, staff member, family member, or friend.

Celebrate World Smile Day! This smiley face writing craft template includes everything you need to add some smiles to your writing block. Includes an easy to assemble craft with two versions of the writing page so you can choose the one that best meets the needs of your students.

Materials Include

• Smiley face topper template for students to design and color
• Two versions of lined writing paper with space at the top for illustration
• Directions for assembly and ideas for differentiation

Students will create a book about how ten snowmen spent their day! Each page shows a way to make ten. Rhyming sentences show how different groups of snowmen do different things, but each time, all ten are together. With three differentiated versions, there is sure to be one to fit the needs of each of your students. Students can draw their own snowmen in the boxes on the pages, color in the correct number of snowmen in each box, or color in an errorless version. Students can also use manipulatives to count out snowmen instead of drawing or match the manipulative to the picture. At the bottom of each page, students will be able to write in the equation that equals ten.

These fall activities will get your class in the seasonal spirit! Apples, pumpkins, and leaves team up to help your students practice skills such as counting, single digit addition, graphing, and even sequencing events. This is a paper based, HOLIDAY themed resource. Products featured are Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanza and Winter themed.

This resource is designed to expose students to a variety of real-world shopping situations. Students are given a prices on products and are asked to look at the money provided and determine if they have enough money. Students will also be asked look at the price of real products and identify the correct amount of money needed. Students will also calculate totals of multiple items

How to use this product:

•Print out and have students complete as a worksheet/ workbook.

•Print & laminate for repeated use for fast finishers.

•Project pages onto the board to complete as a class. Have students take turns coloring or circling the correct amount of money.
