It's Spring Counting Money time! Have fun teaching your students Money Skills with this SPRING themed, differentiated, comprehensive mixed money unit! Do your students need additional support identifying money, counting money, matching dollar amounts to currency and make purchases using the "next dollar up" method?

Functional money skills such as counting and identifying money to make purchases are critical to successful daily living. This SPRING Counting Mixed Money Unit reinforces these skills with progressively harder tasks beginning with matching dollar to dollar, progressing on to matching prices with dollars, then using the next dollar up method to make a purchase. The currency is in US dollars from $1 to $10. There 3 levels of learning with 10 cards per level!

This is an excellent resource for a range of students, from those with IEP Math or Money Goals to transition-to-work students and elementary students learning money skills. It is a great addition to any math/ supported employment program or math center. These activities can also support Transition Plans!

This comprehensive money math unit can also support transition plans and be used in a variety of learning settings, including virtual learning, whole group learning, small group learning, and homework.

What has worked best for my students was to print to on heavy duty card stock and laminate.

This Functional Job Skills - Money Identification Task Box Clip Card French Version set is essential for any Special Education Classroom! This set allows students to practice identifying Canadian coins and bills using clip cards.  These cards can also be laminated and students can circle the correct answer with a dry erase marker.  There are four different levels included to support students as they learn the images (front and back for coins, front only for bills), values, and names of each Canadian coin and bill.  The set also comes with a colour and black & white version.  All denomination words are in French!

This is a paper based, Fall themed resource. Products featured are Fall related. Examples of products featured: apple cider, hay bales, leaf bags, pumpkins, rakes, scarfs etc.

This resource is designed to expose students to a variety of real-world shopping situations. Students are given a prices on products and are asked to look at the money provided and determine if they have enough money. Students will also be asked look at the price of real products and identify the correct amount of money needed. Students will also calculate totals of multiple items

How to use this product:

•Print out and have students complete as a worksheet/ workbook.

•Print & laminate for repeated use for fast finishers.

•Project pages onto the board to complete as a class. Have students take turns coloring or circling the correct amount of money.

This is a paper based, Father's Day themed resource. Products featured are Father's Day related but also feature Grandpa items. Examples of products featured: Fishing gear, cards, clothing, yard accessories, & other small gifts fathers may receive on Father's Day.

This resource is designed to expose students to a variety of real-world shopping situations. Students are given a prices on products and are asked to look at the money provided and determine if they have enough money. Students will also be asked look at the price of real products and identify the correct amount of money needed. Students will also calculate totals of multiple items

How to use this product:

•Print out and have students complete as a worksheet/ workbook.

•Print & laminate for repeated use for fast finishers.

•Project pages onto the board to complete as a class. Have students take turns coloring or circling the correct amount of money.

•Project pages onto board and have student use the cut out or laminated money to present the correct dollar up amount needed for each question.
