Frog and Toad Are Friends is a just right beginning chapter book for my second grade students. Students in my small groups quickly make connections to the characters and their unique friendship. The poke cards are self checking. After reading each chapter, students will answer each question by selecting one of three choices. Clothespin Clip Cards | Letter Match Activity | Pumpkin-Themed:

These task cards are a great fall-themed learning activity. There are both pumpkin-themed letter cards as well as number cards.

Each letter task card has an Uppercase letter on the pumpkin as well as #3 different lowercase letters on the right side of the card to choose from. Your students will then clip a clothespin on the correct lowercase letter that matches the letter on the pumpkin. This is a great fine motor activity as well as a great way to practice matching Uppercase and lowercase letters together.

Number Clothespin Count & Match Activity | Pumpkin-Themed:

Each pumpkin-themed number card has a different amount of pumpkins from 1-10 on each one. The students will count how many pumpkins are on each task card and then attach a clothespin to the matching number on the right.
