This Math Center can be used over and over, just keep the cards posted around the room and give them a different recording sheet with a new skill. You have 21 recording sheets to pick from to suit the needs of your grade level objectives, and/or meet the needs of the students where they are.

Cut apart the 4 tally cards on each page, laminate if you wish for durability. Hang around the room for students to walk around with their clipboard and recording sheet. I’ve made color and B&W options to chose from. You may also just cut cards and place in a Math Center bucket with which ever recording sheet you want them to use. Think about running the page double sided with 2 skills for those early finishers.

There are 2 open ended pages where the TEACHER can write in her own objectives, either whole class or to differentiate per the needs of your students.

There are 2 pages that do not use the tally cards 1-20, they are basically worksheets asking the student to write in the tally marks to match the number on the worksheets.

A fun way to review double digit addition with and without regrouping. Begin at the start box and solve the addition problem. Once you find the answer follow the maze until you make it all the way to the end. Students can color or draw their way through the maze.

Galaxy Exploration is a Board Game that emulates Snakes & Ladders to help students exercise a knowledge of Number Bonds to 10 and 20. However, unlike Snakes & Ladders, we have added some other interesting elements to make a more competitive and fun game overall.

The game pack comes with 6 playable boards. Four are playable with either a 10-sided dice or the included spinner. Two are playable ONLY with a 6-sided dice just in case you need it. Of those six, half do not feature the Black Holes and Portals (Snakes and Ladders) to make a much faster game which is still great for the learning of Number Bonds.

If the student puts the correct answer in, the answer box will turn green and a piece of the digital puzzle will appear in the green box to the right. In addition to this, an emoji pops up next to the correct answer. If the student puts in the wrong answer, the answer box will turn red and no puzzle piece will appear. Students will know that they have completed the activity correctly when all answer boxes are green and all 50 puzzle pieces are there, forming a picture of a panda eating ice cream on the beach.
