Solid Read Alouds not only connect poetry but enhance your curriculum with monthly themes and national observance days. The Sundae Day Read Aloud is designed for a daily one week time period. However, the unit can easily be stretched into two weeks or incorporated into a writing workshop. The read aloud will include: poetry, how to writing, and nonfiction selection. The unit also includes: comprehension work, anchor chart ideas and printables, how to writing activity and penmanship work. This product is designed to enhance your curriculum, incorporate poetry, and infuse common core state standards into your teaching. The Solid Read Aloud product can easily be completed in approximately a daily 15-minute mini lesson.
