The Spring Speaking Game forces students to use language creatively!  The game cards are in the shape of flowers, and each flower contains a word related to spring.  Students will help design the specifics of each round of the game, and the cards they hold are the ones they must use to create a story!  The game comes with Teacher Notes, Student Instructions, Color and Black and White printable game pieces, a score card and a vocab list.  Everything you need! TIC-TAC-TOE Irregular Futur Simple French Conjugation Games - BUNDLE - No Prep Printables

Tic Tac Toe is a fun game that your students already know how to play, and it is a simple way to get them conjugating and pronouncing verbs with irregular stems in the futur simple. This bundle saves you 50%. You may also enjoy my set of futur simple board games.

French TIC-TAC-TOE Conjugation Games - Present Tense - GROWING BUNDLE - No Prep Printables

Tic Tac Toe is a fun game that your students already know how to play, and it is a simple way to get them conjugating, speaking, and writing regular and irregular verbs in the present tense.

Each set of games includes two worksheets with 6 tic-tac-toe grids per page. One worksheet is for speaking answers, and the other one is for writing them. Photocopy on the front and back for a no-prep set of 12 grids for differentiated learning.

Students play in pairs, conjugating verbs so that they agree with the subject pronoun in each box, saying answers aloud or writing them to claim squares on tic tac toe grids. Three correctly conjugated verbs in a row wins the game. Students need to use different colored pens or markers when writing their answers.

These games work very well as 10 - 15 minute partner or station activities. Tic tac toe games are a terrific way to get in a quick, fun, and easy review!

20 questions games are a fun, effective, NO PREP way to practice forming French questions. Click on individual game links for specific details on each version. This bundle saves you 50%. These games work for any level as they are written in French and English. Want a real challenge for your upper levels or immersion students? Use the French only version!

Have students work in small groups of 2-4 or project the game and use it as a whole class activity.

Many of the words may be new to your students as this game is meant not only to practice forming questions, but also to build vocabulary. I like to allow my students to look at the game chart while they play until they’re somewhat familiar with the words. After they've played the games a few times looking at the French-English version they feel more prepared to move on to the French only version.

One student in the small group or class chooses a word on the chart. Other students ask up to 20 questions trying to guess the secret word.

The student who has chosen the secret word can answer using the following responses: OUI - NON - PARFOIS - RAREMENT - GÉNÉRALEMENT - PEUT-ÊTRE - CELA DÉPEND - PROBABLEMENT

Alternative game play:

To change up the game and to make it more challenging as well as practicing other skills, have the student who chooses the secret word describe it to others in the group. Instead of asking questions about the secret word, other students listen to the description and guess it.

Are you a French teacher looking for an engaging way to get your French students to build their communication skills and vocabulary? Taboo is a fun French speaking and listening game where one student has to guess a word based on clues given in French by other students. The catch is that they cannot mention anything that is included in a list of taboo words. Save 20% with this bundle.

Classic French Taboo Games Bundle - 3 Versions

Object of the game:

One player tries to get his teammate to guess the word at the top of a card. The player must give clues, but he can't use any of the Taboo words in his description. The taboo words are written beneath the underlined word at the top of the card.

Teams score points for each word successfully guessed. The team with the most points at the end of the game wins.

Beginner students should be allowed to use the French TABOO words printed on the cards. This will encourage them to use new vocabulary and will help them in forming sentences to use as clues.
