Introducing the ultimate companion for readers of Edith Wharton's classic novel, Ethan Frome - our comprehensive vocabulary lists, crossword puzzles, and quizzes arranged by chapters!
With 38 pages of carefully curated material, our product is designed to help you deepen your understanding of the novel while improving your vocabulary and critical thinking skills.
The product is divided into three sections, each covering a specific range of chapters. The first section covers the Prologue through Chapter 3, the second section covers Chapters 4-6, and the third section covers Chapters 7-9. This organization allows you to focus on the material covered in each section and test your knowledge before moving on to the next.
Each section contains a detailed vocabulary list, highlighting key words and phrases from the text. The vocabulary lists are accompanied by crossword puzzles, providing a fun and interactive way to reinforce your knowledge of the words and their meanings. The graphic novel, Frizzy - The Graphic Novel by Claribel A Ortega is great for children ages 9 - 15 years old, as they can relate with the main character, Marlene as she figures out who she is, what she likes, and who she wants to be. This is a book about friendship, developing interests, finding oneself, starting something new, being a good friend, being different from others and embracing those differences, standing up for oneself, and doing what is best for you. Comprehension questions, fill in the blank questions, and multiple choice questions are provided in this product and are separated by the books chapters.
The comprehension questions in this product relate with the text as well as students own experiences. Vocabulary words, their meanings, and a few example sentences are presented in the packet. As the book is being read aloud, as students are reading the book or after the book has been read, students can answer the comprehension questions in this packet. The book, Best Friends by Shannon Hale and Leuyen Pham is great for children ages 7 - 13 years old, as they can relate with Shannon, the friends she makes along the way, the friendships she struggles to maintain, the lack of self confidence she has and she becomes more confident along the way, learning that it is okay not to be friends with everyone, the importance of friendship and not following the crowd or what your friends want you to do, doing things that you want to do - being a leader instead of a follower, and how to handle stressful situations, anxiety, conflict, and bullying. Students will follow Shannon along as she figures out where to fit in while in 6th grade and gets ready for junior high school. The comprehension questions in this product relate with the text as well as students own experiences. Vocabulary words, their meanings, and example sentences are presented in the packet. Students can also write vocabulary words in sentences.
