This no-prep, self-grading Spanish digital game will allow your students to practice Spanish vocabulary about spring and Easter. Each slide has either an image or a word in English and four Spanish words to choose from. If they choose correctly, they continue along the path. But an incorrect answer will send them back to redo that section!

Includes a Google drive, PowerPoint and PDF version of the game. Share with students as an individual assignment or work through the activity as a class on a smartboard.

The teacher could start a game of Quizlet Live! to add interest and fun!  Teachers could focus on just a few words for a particular speaking or writing assignment or one category.  As students progress in their proficiency level, they can pick and choose words from more than one category.  This is a resource students can reference over and over again!

Preparing for the AP Spanish® Exam? The Argumentative Essay takes lots of practice! Help your students nail this open-ended task on the AP Spanish® Exam by learning how to write awesome intro paragraphs! This digital Google Doc contains 2 introduction paragraphs to a fictional argumentative essay.

Writing an awesome introductory paragraph will set the student up for an organized, quality argumentative essay. Use this activity as you teach students how to follow the rules and requirements of this open-ended task on the AP® Test. There are 2 different introductory paragraphs (one really good, and one missing some important elements). Below each paragraph is a checklist of items that should appear in every good intro paragraph. Students will read and judge for themselves which one is better. In the process they can explain why one is great and the other will not set the writer up for success.

Have you head the Notes in Spanish podcasts? Do you use Edpuzzle? For AP Spanish® Unit 6, I made an MP4 recording of the audio for the podcast about Climate Change, and uploaded it to Edpuzzle! I inserted multiple choice, auto-graded questions into the recording to help students to find the right spot in the podcast to find the answer. The auto-grading of Edpuzzle is not only a time-saver for teachers, but allows students to have feedback on what answers they got right or wrong!

This Google Doc activity to practice listening comprehension for the Spanish Future Tense can be achieved via distance learning or with in-person students.! The activity contains 2 audio links to descriptions of people's lives in the future. Students can work independently if you assign this activity via Google Classroom (or other learning management platform) for on-line learners and can practice taking notes and answering both multiple choice and an open-ended answer on their own. Another way to do this activity for students is to print the activity sheet for students who are in person to write on. The teacher can read the included script instead of having students play the audio for themselves.

This activity is easily copied/adapted to create a listening assessment!

Which students can use this:

• Spanish students in Year 2 and up
• Students at the Intermediate Low level and up can use this

How could this product be used?

• Use the recorded links for students to work on this independently, at home or via distance learning
• Read the teacher script to students if they are in person with you in class
• Students will listen and take notes. (Teachers can print out the note-taking sheets or assign them digitally.)
• At the end, students will answer multiple choice questions and an open-ended question. (Teachers can print out the questions or assign them digitally.)
• Multiple Choice Questions ask students to identify which person's future is being discussed.
• Teachers may go over the correct answers with students or provide the answer key for self-checking!
