This interactive Flip Book craft and activity is a no-prep, printable close reading activity that's geared toward upper elementary, middle school and high school. Election Day in the United States is a time for us to think about what we stand for. This activity is fun and easy way to celebrate Election Day in your classroom.

Students will read the article titled "Election Day: A Day of Change and Choice" which describes the importance of getting out and voting, because it was a hard-earned right for Americans. After reading, students will construct a flipbook and answer a reading comprehension question about Election Day. All answers can be found in the article! After that, students may color their flip books and present to a partner. This truly is an all-in-one activity!

Simply print and go! There is no preparation needed, which is why this set is perfect to leave for sub plans, bell ringers, homework, test prep, review or assessment!
