Are you looking for an easy, low-prep way to learn or review the conjugations of the present and imperfect progressive tense verbs? This brand new activity combines reading and coloring to produce a fun way for your students to learn or review the present and imperfect progressive tense. These sheets are great for last-minute sub plans or days with irregular schedules (like standardized test days, pep rallies, early releases, etc) as well as reviewing or reinforcing progressive tense verbs. Included are two worksheets – one for present progressive and one for imperfect progressive, plus colored answer keys.

Your students are going to learn a lot with this lesson, and it will have them speaking to each other in no time. This lesson can easily be used with beginners, intermediate, or advanced learners. You can adapt it to every level. Beginners should at least know the verbs être and avoir and some very basic vocabulary. He will ask you to come to his party. Your lines are fairly open-ended, but they must correspond to what he says next, so watch out! Activity 2 Before moving on to the second part of this speaking activity, let’s review some of the most common professions. You can practice this new vocabulary by clicking on the link above which will bring you to a set of review exercises on Quizlet. This document contains a list of professions in English and French, then there's another part with only the French word and an image. All of the images correspond to the images found within the Quizlet study set. After reviewing the professions vocabulary, proceed to the next page where you will see a picture of 11 different people, all with different professions. Activity 3 Tout d’abord, comment s’appellent ces gens, quel âge ont-ils, et quelles sont leurs professions? Have a look at the people in this picture. Use your imagination to determine what their professions are (you may not have the same ideas as others, and that’s ok). Once you’ve determined their professions, tell us what their names are, and how old they are. Again, use your imagination, and try to come up with some French names! Look just below the picture to see an example, then complete the exercise by providing the same information for the other 10 people in the picture (left to right). Do your Spanish students need some help with interpersonal speaking?  Are they struggling to have conversations in Spanish?  Let’s give them some guided support with these partner conversations about food and restaurants!  Both students will have the opportunity to ask and answer questions as part of a conversation, but with a lot of scaffolding to build confidence.

There are 4 guided conversations, differentiated between Novice and Intermediate levels.  There are 2 conversations for each, so both students will have a chance to ask and answer questions in a conversational way.  

These conversations focus on food and restaurants.

• Students will trade roles so both can practice asking questions and answering questions

Do your students struggle to grasp the difference between the reflexive and non-reflexive verbs? This sentence-sorting activity will give them hands-on practice with this often tricky topic! In this activity, your students will sort the given list of 20 English sentences into two categories: reflexive or not reflexive. You could easily adapt this activity for other tenses, simply by providing your own list. In addition to the hands-on practice, this resource also includes two worksheet versions of the same sentences.

This resource contains:

• one sentence sorting sheet
• one page of twenty English sentences with dotted lines for cutting
• one worksheet where students choose between reflexive and not reflexive and explain why their choice is correct
• one worksheet where students choose between reflexive and not reflexive and translate the sentences to Spanish
• answer keys for the sentence sorting sheet and both worksheets
• tips for using the resource and a table of contents

Use these flash cards in order to facilitate vocabulary words for AP Spanish Literature. only 7 are blank in order to hold students accountable, but with the most difficult words being defined. 50 cards can be made. Have students change the definition for Metafora. I have divided the vocabulary words, by three. There are many words for students to learn in AP Spanish Literature, and this is one of my aids!
