Solving equations with variables on both sides Coloring Activity: This is an activity of 12 problems. Students solve the problem and find the matching answer. They then color the picture according to the color of the answer. There is a modified and non-modified version. The modified version guides students through the process of solving equations when variables are on both sides. This is a great way to differentiate when you have a gap between learning abilities in your class.

Learn and practice finding reference angles with this complete lesson. In this print and go lesson, you can print all 8 pages out and give it out as a packet to start the topic. Have them start off completing the word search with vocabulary associated with finding reference angles. Go through the guided notes with the reference angles examples with them (or they can do it alone with the guidance of the notes). Then have them work with a partner to complete the partner problems. After that they will complete the independent practice to see what they understand on their own. You can assign them the HW for the night. The next day they can summarize what they learned, reflect on what was challenging and what was not and then rate themselves on a scale of 1-4 to self assess how well they understood reference angles.

Students will pair up, get a different set of 20 questions each to solve, check their answers with their partner and take a turn moving a connect 4 piece if they are correct! Same rules apply - first person to get 4 in a row, column or diagonal wins!

NO PREP or running around the classroom for you! Just give a game board to each pair, a set of questions for each student and an answer key for each student. Give them each a red and yellow crayon or colored pencil and let them go.
