This engaging and **enjoyable **activity is designed to motivate students to **review the content **before an assessment on Ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia. Through this Ancient Studies game, students will be prepared for the end of the unit. Or, choose to use this as an end-of-unit alternative assessment. • Students will explore the details surrounding the murder of King Tut.

Students read two Common Lit articles and observe/analyze images related to the Great Depression and Migrant workers (Links to all images and articles are provided - actual articles are NOT included. only links).

Students will observe, read, analyze, and make evidence-based inferences related to the Great Depression and the lives of migrant workers. Students will then use these texts (articles and images) to make connections to the characters / events in the book Of Mice and Men. The graphic organizers require students to cite evidence from both the articles, images, and the book to support their analysis, conclusions, and observations.

✅ The two graphic organizers contain the same information, but one of them is differentiated for lower-level students.

✅ The differentiated version graphic organizer includes paraphrased, step-by-step instructions as well as examples of how to think about the information they observed in the images and read in the articles. These examples will increase their understanding of how to think about information and complete the graphic organizer appropriately.

These graphic organizers require students to analyze three images related to the Great Depression and Dust Bowl and draw evidence-based conclusions. Use this Reading Response Assignment and Battle Royale style activity to teach about Bushcraft and Primitive Survival Techniques while reinforcing simple geographical knowledge about world geography and the basic biomes of the world. In this product, students will learn about the 19th Amendment, what it is, the timeline as to how the 19th Amendment was put into effect and just how long it took. Information about the process it took and how it was rejected by different parts of the government is shared ranging from 1878 to the November 1920 election, what the women's suffrage movement was, who was involved, and what they did, President Woodrow Wilson, Harry Burn, Senator Aaron A. Sargent, Ellen Clark Sargent, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, and Susan B. Anthony and the role that each of them had in the passing of the 19th Amendment, students will learn about Congress - the Senate and the House of Representatives, and will briefly learn about the 3 Branches of Government to help students understand which branch helped pass the 19th Amendment, students will briefly learn about who was involved in World War I and what happened at the end of World War I, why women became involved in World War I, what their roles were in World War I, what jobs women had during this time, and how this lead to the 19th Amendment. Students will also learn about how the 19th Amendment in 1869 was different from 1920 and why, how the Voting Rights Act of 1965 was important as well as the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, students will also learn about when women could vote in 15 states from 1869 - 1918, and the first states to ratify the 19 Amendment.

The notes are adapted to meet your student's individual learning needs. Throughout the product, after each page of notes is reviewed, students will answer short answer comprehension questions and multiple choice questions to review what was discussed on previous pages. At the end of the product, students are provided with a review that includes multiple choice questions and short answer questions.
