I use this deck as a WARM-UP in our virtual environment. By placing a link in the chat or embedding the cards into our Pear Deck, students can practice for a few minutes at the beginning of each class.

These Dolch sight word flash cards and posters are excellent for students to practice reading high frequency words and improve sight word identification and fluency. They are also a fun and engaging way to practice reading skills at home as a homework distance learning tool to use for the mastery of sight words.

Bright Blue Dot Star Dolch Third Grade Sight Word Flash Cards make learning sight words fun and engaging. Help your students build better reading skills using these Dolch sight word flash cards for word work activities. These high frequency word cards can be used whole group, small group, in centers, for homework practice, or for word walls.

Sight words instruction is an excellent supplement to phonics instruction. Phonics is a method for learning to read in general, while sight words instruction increases a child’s familiarity with the high frequency words he will encounter most often.
