Telling time to the minute hand task cards. There are 36 different cards that each have a different time. Each clock has a A, B, C, or D option. Included with this is a recording sheet. You can use these task cards in a math center, a scoot, or whatever works best for you. Students will practice reading an analog clock to the minute hand.

Telling Time | Worksheets/Printables | Hour, Half and Quarters Clock Faces

This pack contains a variety of worksheets that offer a range of activities on the topic of telling the time to the nearest hour, half and quarter. Activities include the drawing of hour and minute hands onto blank clocks from a written time, and vice versa, an exploration of the topic of AM and PM, and worksheets that explore conversion between 12 hour and 24 hour time. There are also time match-up activities in both ‘draw a line’ and ‘cut-out’ versions. This pack primarily explores the concept of telling time relating to how it looks on a clock face, whether the student reads from a clock-face, or is required to draw the hands.

This pack is aimed at ALL learners who struggle with telling the time, but it also designed to meet US Common Core Standard 1.MD.b.3 and UK National Curriculum Years 1 and 2. This pack also pushes students who might be capable of grasping the concepts of ‘quarter past’ and ‘quarter to’ in addition.

This Bingo game is a great game to support students learn SUBTRACTION facts! This is a great game for a whole class approach or center activities.

The caller reads the number equation, and the players cross off the correct answer.

There are a number of subtraction fact cards for each correct answer response for numbers 1-20. This has been developed in case students are not aware of the correct answer and then they are given another opportunity. For example for the correct number response of 10, subtraction fact cards might include: 18-10, 10-0 and 12-2. This creates a more diverse approach to learning!

This game is great for students to practice word form and makes for a great math center.

How to Use: Copy the pages in this resource onto card stock, cut apart, and laminate.

Players: 2-6

Directions: Lay all cards upside down on a table. Players will take turns flipping over two cards and seeing if they match. If the cards match (the number form matches with the word form) the player gets to keep those cards and it is the next players turn. If the cards do not match the player flips the cards back over and it is the next players turn.

Additional Support: Send this game home for a fun way to practice word form at home!

** Note there are a total of 36 matches or 72 cards. There are cards 1-20 and then a random assortment of numbers 21-100, not all numbers to 100.

Materials: Print out and laminate cards

Players: whole group or small group

Directions: Pass out cards, there are 30 cards so you can play with whole group or small group. If using with a small group, students get more than 1 card. Choose one student to start. That student reads there card. The student who has the correct number in word form reads their card. The game continues until the players

This is an activity with TEN number counting puzzles to cut apart and add to your February math centers. My students absolutely love this type of puzzle! Each puzzle has ten numbers and the numbers range from 1 - 100. I have also included a black and white printer-friendly version. They can be photocopied for students to make their own fun math puzzles!

Help students practice counting mixed change with this fun file folder game! File includes 8 piggy banks and 8 pages of matching coins! Cut out piggy banks and glue onto a file folder. Each pig has a page of money cards that matches the amount. Cut these out and students can sort the cards to the matching pig! ( Write the amount on the back of the card to help younger students). *Blank piggy banks have also been included.
