Read the book to your students and have them discuss what they’ve heard. Following the discussion, present the activities to them. Can be great for small groups, 1:1 sessions, or whole class.

"Caught Ya Being Respectful" is a fun and engaging activity that not only gets students talking about being respectful and what that looks like, but it also encourages them to make connections of people (that they know and often admire!) that are showing respect around them as well! This activity includes everything needed for your next classroom lesson on respect, including two worksheets (Wanted Poster and Bonus Activity!) as well as different ideas that you can do with the finished products! My students LOVED this and it was fun for our teachers to see the outcome as well. We got a lot of learning and laughs out of this activity!

For this activity, you will need string and scissor to help make it the most successful! My students LOVED being able to put their very own pocket together! Feeling Nervous Social Story

Some of the questions require students to put their feet in the shoes of the characters who are experiencing nervousness. When students are reading each story, they will review feeling nervous and what happens when they feel that way. Feelings and Emotions Social Scenarios

This product includes 14 social stories that focus on feeling stressed, upset, excited, nervous, sad, shy, and jealous. Students will be required to put their feet in the shoes of each character in each social story. This product can be printed and laminated and the feelings cards can be cut out and Velcro can be applied to the back of them so they can be placed on each social story. Students can use pencil (if not laminated) and dry erase marker to write how the character felt. After the student has written their answer, there can be a discussion with the student about what they would do if they were the character in each situation.
