Students are encouraged to match and sort the various qualities and reflect on whether they would be qualities a buddy would demonstrate or a quality that a bully would demonstrate.

This SEL lesson is versatile and can be used as a quick reference guide, a sort and match activity lesson, within individual or small group sessions or even as a whole class approach.

Laminate and glue this resource to a file folder for repeated use and longevity.

This SEL and Character Education Lesson is designed to teach children the importance of respectful and polite behavior in social situations. During this lesson, children will learn the basics of good manners, such as saying "please" and "thank you," using polite language, and showing respect to others.

Students will also learn how to be a good listener, share with others, and be kind and considerate in their interactions with others. The lesson is engaging, using scenarios and role-plays to help children understand the concept of good manners and how to apply it in their daily lives.

The Empathy Building Game Help students recognize and understand how other people would feel in a given situation. Have students “walk a mile” in other people’s shoes while answering one important question; How do you think they would feel? Two sets of 52 game cards are included. Black and white cards should be used with advanced groups who have a solid grasp on understanding emotions. Students pick a card, read the situation, and describe the emotions the person would feel. The colored cards can be used as a guide for students who still need help understanding the basic concepts. The colors on the chameleons (on the cards) match the emotions the situations would evoke. This bundle includes an English and Spanish version of the Hanukkah Candle Book. These are perfect for your bilingual or dual-language classrooms. Ensure your students understand the significance of Hanukkah and relate Jewish traditions to their lives. This resource helps children connect with the miracles of Hanukkah by creating their own through meaningful actions.

The activity features nine candles, each representing a core value. Children light a candle each time they perform an action related to that value, embodying the spirit of the holiday. This engaging exercise teaches fundamental values that aid in overcoming challenges.

**Instructions: **Cut along the dotted lines for each candle. Have students color a candle whenever they practice a related value and staple the candle book beside each candle flame. There is also an empty template provided, allowing students to choose any value they wish to practice and either draw or describe it in writing.
