Have your students been working with telling time on a number line? This was a pretty tough skill for my students to master, and I still like to review this concept frequently to help keep the skill fresh.

In this product, you'll find 10 Christmas themed problems focusing on telling time on a number line.

All problems include the steps needed to solve and the answer!

Students will practice:

• plotting times on a number line
• finding start times
• finding end times
• finding how many minutes an activity lasted

These worksheets have 2 problems per page, with a total of 18 problems. All problems have an included number line. Answer key included!

This can be used to challenge high second graders as well as reinforce struggling older students.

What kid isn't fascinated by snakes?! First, they will read about a snake's skin. Then, students will read about six types of snakes. They will learn about a particular snake's skin (Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake, King Snake, Common Garter Snake, Rainbow Boa Constrictor, Burmese Python, and Coral Snake). After reading, students will complete an easy STEM activity. There are suggestions, tips, and worksheets (for the engineering and design process and a variety of writing papers) that will help you differentiate the activities depending on the level of your students!

What is a lapbook?

A lapbook is a book made from a file folder that includes various information about a topic. Students can create a lap book by cutting, coloring (when needed), and gluing them inside a file folder. The finished file folder book is called a lapbook because the book is usually big enough to spread out on your lap to read.

Lapbooks do not come with specific assembly instructions. Students are to use the information to build their books creatively and uniquely! This is a fun way for students to learn and get hands-on with the information!

All of the hard work is done for you. Just print the pieces, give each student one file folder, and let your students get creative!
