With this no-prep, digital math-based escape room activity, your students will have a great time finding circumference, area, and radius given one circle measurement in order to find the solution to a mystery.

There are 20 problems:

Based on the premise that Pi has lost its digits, your students will explore five different locations full of activities, jokes and fun facts. 

Since this escape room is online (interactive pages) there is very little prep: provide the link, and off they go! There are no locks to configure or clues to hide—everything you need is online. No Google Classroom or Microsoft Teams logins are necessary. 

A printable version of the problems is also included.

You can use it as:

To measure the rain and use it in class for a Real-Life Math task is a wonderful activity! No better Real-Life Math application.

This printable resource includes a task with complete key. Students will calculate the amount of rain that fell in a 20-mile radius if it rains 1 inch. They will then determine what it would cost to bring that amount of water to Athens, GA, in shipping containers from the nearest lake. My students sometimes have a hard time differentiating between area, volume and perimeter. This 10-slide presentation gives real-life situations and asks them which of the three they'd use to solve the problems. Similar to how they'd solve written problems, except there are no numbers - just images and concepts to get them thinking.

This takes the fear out of written problems (raise your hand if your students get spooked!) and gives them an idea (without numbers involved) to think outside the box about these three operations!
