Christmas Holiday Build Your Own Nutcracker Craft Resource Activity, Decor,

Make your Christmas Holiday Party Crafts fun with this engaging, hands-on Christmas Nutcracker Kids craft making activity! This includes 2 low-prep Christmas Nutcracker kids crafts templates perfect for having fun for the Christmas holiday. Quick and easy setup plus clear student directions make this activity perfect for centers or substitute days, too!
Lead your students in fun craft making with 2 nutcrackers (red or blue) by cutting out the pieces, coloring, gluing the parts together and decorating. Students will love putting together their nutcracker activities together by using their problem solving skills through these fun activities, and won't even realize how much they're having fun! Use it after reading a story about nutcrackers, go to the Nutcracker Ballet or sing a song nutcrackers. Explore the history of where and how they are made. These can be printed in black and white or in color.

Your students will crafting Christmas holiday nutcracker crafts with a variety of common classroom materials. They'll be engaged and having a great time together!

Prep is quick and easy... Just print the nutcracker pages, cut everything out, color, decorate, gather the materials listed, and you're ready for a fun and engaging class! Print in black and white for coloring and in color for easy assembly. You can make these into puppets, dance around the room with them while listening to Nutcracker music, or use to decorate your room with.

Rock the duck to sleep while listening to 3/4 time signature, reinforce rhythm decoding while your students chant and move along with the song composed for this classic by Doreen Cronin. As an extra prop, use a duck puppet and a yo-yo to play along as you sing to the duck to help the animal fall asleep. Move to the song and use a drum to help your students feel 3/4 time signature. Additional rhythm chart and worksheet review ta and ti-ti rhythms as well as different animal sounds found in the story. Adaptable for grades 1st-3rd grade.
