A four-lesson biography project about the life of English playwright, William Shakespeare. The first lesson is interactive and involves students cutting out facts, and then sorting these facts into paragraphs. In the second lesson the students need to use these facts to write four paragraphs. Then, in the third lesson children need to choose the most important facts and include these in an introduction; after this they need to answer several questions on a prompt sheet before writing up their conclusion. In the final lesson students need to check their draft paragraphs for mistakes before writing up their work on to a neat copy on the template provided.

File Folder Uppercase & lowercase Letter Match:

This is a great file folder game for your students. It’s a fun way for your students to practice matching the correct Uppercase and lowercase letters together. There is #2 pages of Uppercase letters as well as #1 page of lowercase letters.

Print, laminate and attach the #2 pages of the Uppercase Letters (pumpkins) to a file folder. Then cut out and laminate the pumpkin seeds with the lowercase letters on them.

I would recommend getting small velcro dots and attaching them to the front top of the pumpkins as well as the back of the pieces of the pumpkin seeds to make the matching process easier.
