Simply cut and laminate the cards. The cards can then be used at a listening, science, or STEM center! There is a worksheet for students to keep track of and rate the stories they listen to. There are also three differentiated reading response sheets.

Phonics is a method for learning to read in general, while sight words instruction increases a child’s familiarity with the high frequency words he will encounter most often. Sight word flashcards and posters can be used to introduce new words, practice previously taught words, and to practice in many different ways as listed below!

Ways to use:

• Flashcard reading practice
• Word Walls
• Whole punched and put on rings in sets
• Games
• Centers
• ABC order
• Word Work
• Write the room
• Spelling with manipulatives or play dough or with the baseball letter cards from my store
• and many more!

The set includes a full page card for each word as well as a smaller flashcard for each word. These can be used at center time, small group instruction, or individual practice in order to increase sight word recognition.
