By That One Cheerful Classroom
Looking for a way to work on constructed response practice questions with your 3rd graders during math? This set includes 29 no-prep printable pages perfect for test prep or after lesson quick assessments. Quick and easy to use plus clear student directions make these quick checks perfect for centers or substitute days, too!
These are quick check style, meaning there is only one problem per page for students to work through. Each task requires the student to show all of their work and provide a written explanation. Some of the tasks (depending on the standard) also require the students to support their answers with a model. Many of the problems are multi-step, depending on the standard.
Here's what you'll get:
Your students won't feel overwhelmed or defeated while practicing because there is only one problem per page with plenty of room to show their thinking and write out their answers.
The pages are broken up into the question at the top, space to demonstrate their work, space to write their answer and space for their explanation. This format will help students to remember to answer the question, then provide evidence for their explanation.
