There is a set of 24 task cards perfect for a traditional or BTC classroom (Building Thinking Classrooms), small group, or in centers. There are three types of questions thinly sliced to build rigor which are marked by the number of cubes in the bottom right corner of each task card. One cube are mild problems, two cubes are medium problems, and three cubes are spicy problems. These task cards are based on 4th grade Texas TEKS, but they would work well with other standards.
This Dividing Compatible Numbers Lesson includes step by step instructions on how to solve when estimating up to four digits by one digit and word problems. The launch script (mini lesson) has Google Slides to go hand in hand with the lesson.
