I love these mixed media projects because any student can be successful - there is no "right way" to complete the mixed media projects. These lessons encourage student creativity, allow students to make choices in their artwork, and include connections to other disciplines (math, social studies, and literacy). French Pink Shirt Day FREEBIE

This quick and easy resource is for use near the end of the month of February to recognize Pink Shirt Day. The story behind this day is one that has a positive influence on students as they understand that it is not OK to bully EVER.

I hope you are able to use this resource in your class by quickly making copies and allowing students to use their creativity and unique perspectives to colour and decorate how they see fit.

Personally, I made copies onto pink printer paper in poster size 200% to make two big posters with the title 'Jour du chandail rose' and students have placed their Tshirts around the poster. Older students will also make theirs with a writing piece to explain their views on Pink Shirt Day in French.
