Palestinian & Israeli: One question Two Perspectives

In this ebook you will find ten questions posed twice. One response is from a Palestinian & one from an Israeli. The views are moderate, but perspectives are clearly seen and can provide comparative insights into their respective perspectives.

9. Economic Factors: How do you believe the conflict has shaped the economic situation for Palestinians and Israelis, and what economic changes would you propose to support peace efforts?
10. Vision for Peace: Can you describe your personal vision for peace and how individuals from both societies can contribute to achieving it?

They get cheese every day!!  I'll be adding more menus weekly as I receive them.  There are so many things a French teacher can do with these in class. I have made five extremely versatile no prep printable worksheets available to use along with any and all of these French school lunch menus. Versions 1 - 4 have ten questions each while version 5 has six questions. The questions on these worksheets will have your students learning a lot about cultural differences concerning menu items as well as the amount of time French students get for lunch, why there's no menu for Wednesday, etc.

Engage your students with this 2 pages worksheet, focused on the renowned Spanish festival, La Tomatina. Designed for secondary Spanish students, this resource includes a reading comprehension passage about Nico’s unforgettable experience at the Tomatina festival. Here’s what it includes:

• Reading comprehension: Students answer questions in Spanish based on Nico’s story, building skills in understanding authentic-style texts.

• Grammar practice: A focused section on the pluperfect tense (pretérito pluscuamperfecto) helps students understand the tense and gain confidence in using this advanced tense to describe actions that happened prior to other past events.

• Vocabulary and Writing practice: Key vocabulary and phrases from the text are reinforced with translation exercises, promoting retention of useful language structures related to festivals and personal experiences.

The final writing task encourages students to write about their own hypothetical festival experience, using a mix of the pluperfect and preterite tenses, opinions, and connectors. This task is an excellent way to prepare students for the writing paper of the exam while allowing them to explore cultural themes.

This worksheet can support lessons on cultural topics, serve as effective exam prep, or offer meaningful cover work for independent study.

In "Take it to Mali", introduce your kids to some great music from indigenous instruments from Africa! Using your classroom Djembe or Tubanos, learn the music by rote by taking it one rehearsal section at a time (with rehearsal markings [A], [B], [C], and so forth). This is terrific practice with your older students who want to work on alternating hands

The notation on the first space F is a bass (middle of the drum) and the x notation on the third space C is a tone (four fingers near the rim of the drum, pitched a bit higher)

At the end, wrap it up and put on a show! Want to layer it?

• Have tambourines or shakers play on specified beats (try 2 and 4)
• Have shakers play 16th notes all the way throughout or in specific sections
• Have half the class play 1st and 3rd measures, the other half play 2nd and 4th measures
• Do it in a round! :)

Día de los muertos is a holiday that fascinates our students!  Use this Drag and Drop vocab puzzle to work WITH them instead of against them!  Print or display the vocabulary list of terms related to the celebration of Day of the Dead.  Then, let each student drag and drop the puzzle pieces to form a 4 x 3 puzzle that matches the Spanish words with their English translations.  It’s not as easy as it looks!!  But your students will be focused and learning new vocabulary the whole time!
