Mes projets préférés sont ceux qui intègrent tellement de résultats que je peux en évaluer plusieurs à la fois, et mes élèves peuvent voir leur authenticité et leur aspect pratique. Ceci est mon Saint Graal! Je crois vraiment que chaque enseignant de 6e année en a besoin!

C'est le projet de vos rêves! C'est ma façon préférée de terminer une année scolaire car elle passe en revue tellement de choses avec lesquelles ils sont maintenant à l'aise. Le sujet rend mes élèves de 5e / 6e TELLEMENT EXCITÉS! Je l'utilise souvent comme une dernière évaluation pour montrer aux élèves ce qu'ils ont appris et le chemin qu'ils ont parcouru.

This resource contains five informational reading passages about animal adaptations. It was made for the NGSS 3-LS2 Ecosystems: Interactions, Energy, and Dynamics. It covers the following animals in the the following ecosystems:

Collared Lizard - desert
Clownfish - ocean
Arctic Fox - arctic tundra
Blue Heron - wetlands
Yellow Jacket - temperate forest

The passages were written with third graders in mind, but the information is very interesting and complex and would be useful for upper grades as well. Even I learned things while researching the adaptations!
There is a tips sheet for teachers and two recording sheets (differentiated) for students on which they can note the adaptations that their given animal has in order to survive in its ecosystem.
