This packet of end-of-year activities with summer reading passages is designed specifically for elementary classes. It includes worksheets, word searches, autograph pages, summer bucket lists, favorite memories, 5 fiction reading passage with questions and 5 non-fiction reading passages with questions.

My third- fifth graders loved these passages and activities!!

In the Reading Street program, the historical fiction text, On the Banks of Plum Creek, by Laura Ingalls Wilder is read. In this packet, students can answer comprehension questions pertaining to the text as they read the book or after they read the text. They can complete these questions individually, in a small group, or with support. There are several pages of comprehension questions in this packet that differ from the questions asked in the teacher edition. The questions from the text are adapted in this packet to meet each of your student's needs. In the beginning of the packet, the question, "what is a historical fiction text?" is answered. The selection vocabulary words are also included with this packet. The meaning of the vocabulary word and a picture that shows what each word is is also included. Students will be required to come up with a sentence using each selection word.
