This Valentine's Day themed activity is a fun way to practice the writing conventions involved with writing conversations. Students will use the inspiration of Conversation Hearts to writes a conversation. They will practice writing with quotation marks and the conventions involved.

Students can also have the opportunity to practice oral presentations by using Conversation Hearts to create conversation. They will work with a partner to design and present a conversation.

Students will also be able to write a story using the Conversation Hearts as a starting point and using specific parameters.

What Is Included: Task 1: Create Your Apple Playlist Task 2: Descriptive Paragraph About Your Playlist Task 3: Cover Art Design Task 4: Reflection Questions (Equity and Inclusivity) Rubric I typically give this assignment out at the beginning of the school year to get to know my student’s taste in music.
