The 2007 movie, Nancy Drew makes a connection with both the older and modern Nancy Drew novels. Students can see Nancy Drew in action when watching the movie, after reading the book series. The movie is similar to the book series in that it discusses problem solving skills, following rules, working together, and being a good friend. In their first year of middle school, 6th graders embark on a new phase in their education, facing fresh challenges and changes. Students will read or follow along as the passage about Groundhogs Day is read. Students will then answer comprehension questions as they read or after they have finished reading.
