ANTICIPATION GUIDES
There is ONE Anticipation Guide that comes in two different variations:
▶️ Variation #1:
⭐ Part 1: The first section of the Anticipation Guide features a list of statements alongside columns labeled "AGREE" and "DISAGREE." Students are tasked with reading each statement and marking either "AGREE" or "DISAGREE" based on their perspective.
⭐ Part 2: The second section of the Anticipation Guide prompts students to choose a statement from the list above and delve into its significance to them. They may reflect on how the statement connects to their own lives, share a personal experience related to it, or elaborate on their thoughts concerning its importance in greater detail.
▶️ Variation #2: This Anticipation Guide worksheet format includes a list of statements accompanied by columns for "AGREE," "DISAGREE," and "COMMENTS." Students are instructed to read each statement and mark either "AGREE" or "DISAGREE." They are then encouraged to elaborate on their thoughts or ideas regarding each statement in the designated "COMMENTS" column.

SELF-ASSESSMENT
This resource includes a single Gratitude Self-Assessment. Students will use the organizational skills - related statements to reflect on their outlook and appreciation for the people, experiences, and things in their lives.They will score the statements using the following scale: 2 for “Regularly,” 1 for “Occasionally,” and 0 for “Never.” They will use this self-assessment as a tool to understand their current level of gratitude and identify ways to bring more positivity and appreciation into their daily lives.
This assessment also serves as a valuable tool for initiating conversations about the importance of gratitude, fostering a positive mindset, and recognizing how appreciation can impact relationships, personal growth, and emotional well-being. By discussing their reflections, students can explore how practicing gratitude can enhance resilience, improve focus on positive aspects of life, and create stronger connections with others.

Students will learn about how being a friend is important, what makes a good friend, what should be looked for in a friend, helping others that you care about or hardly know, and understanding how your friends feel in situations that may arise.
Two social stories that focuses on being a friend are included in this product. The social stories includes comprehension questions throughout. Some of the questions require students to put their feet in the shoes of the characters. This product shares with students the importance of being a good friend, communicating with your friends, offering a lending hand to those in need, and what makes you a good friend.
At the end of the product, you will find 4 role-playing cards that relate with being a friend. Students can role-play each situation and talk about how they would feel if they were in the situation.

How does media effect one's self esteem?
This package contains 6 lessons and a culminating task that will address this topic.
The package is meant to be taught over at least five lessons. With discussion, each page should easily fill a 45- to 60-minute lesson block.
Lessons include:

- self esteem and music videos
- what happens when a "beauty" company helps people see their beauty?
- evolution of an advertisement (print media/photoshopping)
- overcoming stereotypes and negative comments
- Think about how awesome you are

There is currently no final assessment piece included in this package.
Each lesson, except the last, should be started with a gratitude journal page. The idea behind this it to help students see that they have a lot to be grateful for, regardless of what the media may portray to them. The journal pages shouldn’t take anymore than 5 minutes, max. For photo copying purposes, the journal page is placed before the worksheet, for any given lesson.

The social story includes comprehension questions throughout. Some of the questions require students to put their feet in the shoes of the character.
