No prep, just print and you're ready to go! Included: French and English version French only version Have students work in small groups of 2-4 or project the game and do a whole class activity. This game includes 40 words. Many of the words will be new to your students as this game is meant not only to practice forming questions, but also to build vocabulary. I like to allow my students to look at the game chart while they play until they’re somewhat familiar with the words. One student in the small group or class chooses a word on the chart. Other students ask up to 20 questions trying to guess the secret word. EST-CE QUE……. … tu es une personne? … tu es un animal? … tu es un minéral? … tu es un endroit? … tu es un aliment? … tu es une plante? … tu es un objet? La Saint Patrick - French Dots and Boxes Activity

An easy and fun no-prep game that will elicit a lot of exposure to 24 different St. Patrick's Day French themed words. This is a one-page dots & boxes game including directions. This game could be laminated and used repeatedly with dry-erase markers or played on an iPad with annotation/whiteboard tools.

Objective: Complete more boxes than your opponent. Each player draws lines using a different color. On your turn, make a horizontal or vertical line from one dot to another. Say the words on either side of the line you drew. If you complete a box on your turn, draw an X in the box using your color. Once all of the boxes have been completed, count to see who got the most.

20 questions games are a fun, effective, NO PREP way to practice forming French questions. Click on individual game links for specific details on each version. This bundle saves you 50%. Have students work in small groups of 2-4 or project the game and use it as a whole class activity.

Many of the words may be new to your students as this game is meant not only to practice forming questions, but also to build vocabulary. I like to allow my students to look at the game chart while they play until they’re somewhat familiar with the words. After they've played the games a few times looking at the French-English version they feel more prepared to move on to the French only version.

One student in the small group or class chooses a word on the chart. Other students ask up to 20 questions trying to guess the secret word.

The student who has chosen the secret word can answer using the following responses: OUI - NON - PARFOIS - RAREMENT - GÉNÉRALEMENT - PEUT-ÊTRE - CELA DÉPEND - PROBABLEMENT

This is an engaging digital breakout room that is NO PREP! Students will enjoy this digital breakout website that has them solve four logic puzzles to find all the necessary keys to beat the leprechauns puzzle and win the pot of gold! Students will use the Google Form that's embedded in the website to fill in their guesses for the passwords. They will get an immediate response on whether their guess was correct, (which will allow them to go to the next rooms submission), or tell them to try again. This website is great for struggling readers as well because an AI avatar is able to read all directions/information aloud to the student if needed.

Writing and Reading for St. Patrick's Day:

Students will enjoy using either Lucky Charms marshmallows or cards to complete Mad Libs. Students will add nouns (the item) or adjectives (the color) to a provided Mad Libs. When they complete this their teacher can have them write their own Mad Libs which they will have a friend complete.

Student will love making nonsense stories for St. Patrick's Day. They will be creative as they think outside the box.
