Students are tasked with:

  • Investigating honey production through the lens of chemical and physical changes
  • Filling out a response sheet that gets them identifying changes in the process and why these changes are important for bees, other animals and humans.

Note: To be successful in completing this assignment student should have prior knowledge of chemical/physical changes, signs of chemical/physical changes and beginner knowledge of reactants, products and how chemical reactions are written.

Animal Cell Collaborative Poster | Animal Cell Activites

This Animal Cell Collaborative Poster promotes TEAMWORK and COMMUNICATION, while teaching students about the organelles in animal cells.

This activity includes 25 images that make up a large animal cell, meant to display on a bulletin board or on the wall.

Size is 53" x 39 "

All images include numbers so that students are using a consistent color code. If a student's image does not include a number, they will have to talk with their classmates to determine what colors they need to be using. This really encourages TEAMWORK and COMMUNICATION.

How to Use This Product (page included with purchase):

  • Print out the 25 images from the pdf document
  • Pass out the “Animal Cell Collaborative Poster Guide” that includes the color code
  • Once students have the coloring completed, arrange images according to the table included. The correct corresponding position can be found on the top left corner of each image
  • Staple the final product to a bulletin board. You can also tape your images to the wall
