Students will be identifying if the adjectives in the sentence are coordinate or cumulative. Then if they have identified the adjectives as coordinate, they will then add the commas to where they are needed.

Writing a Free Verse Poem can be a fun and interesting project for your students. Students will learn that this play focuses more on imagery instead of rhyming. Students will learn what imagery is and how it utilized the senses. This packet includes information to share with your students about what an free verse poem is, the steps taken to write a free verse poem, and why we write one. Students will learn about what a stanza is, a verse, what free verse poems don't include, and several examples that are included in a free verse poem.

An example of three possible poem theme ideas, a free verse poem example, a a free verse poem brainstorming chart, and 8 free verse poem templates are included in this product.
