There are five all-color coded slides along with the form identifiers listed next to each phrase. Discuss form with the students and teach them (by rote) the rhythms on the powerpoint with the corresponding repeats (most are repeated 3 or 4 times). Then, apply it to drums!

All regular notation is to be played on the buckets (or drums, or ground, however you wish), and the X notation (with a down stem) are played as stick clicks above their head (or you could apply it to a tambourine or other auxiliary instrument)

Classroom management in a middle school Core French classroom can be dicey! That's why I engage my students as much as possible to keep em' on their toes! Prof du jour is a part of my everyday routine, where a different student each day is given the opportunity to lead the discussions with their peers and to give them confidence in French. Sit back and watch the magic!

This isn't just a run-of-the-mill calendar! My Prof du jour is at the command desk and interacts with their peers and the Google Slides. Here are some activities that my Grades 4, 5 and 6 students actively use found in this document:

• Complete Calendar (drag & drop icons) for SEPTEMBER 2024 - JUNE 2025.

• Weather, time of day, days of the week, and terms like "yesterday," "today," and "tomorrow."

• Two versions available: One has the Sunday start and another has the Monday start, depending on how you prefer to view your calendar with your students.

• A Wheel Decide question prompter (which you can edit by removing or adding questions your students are working on).

• An "I SPY" prompter (a favorite in ALL of my classes).

• A "GUESS WHO?" prompter.

Instructions:

Teachers: Paste slides 1-14

Around your classroom and have student's fill-in the blank.

These images are basic images for students to use repeated times as they learn new verbs. I would print and laminate these and use them as stations along with the Stations Doc for students.

Preterite vs. Imperfect Activity

For this activity it is more specific of what is required of students to complete. Students should walk around with their packet and fill-it along as they walk around the classroom. For this activity there are 19 stations that need to go on the wall. The last number which is number 20 should be completed in their desks.

You can start numbers on different stations so, that it does not get crowded.

Looking for a French grammar activity about French irregular verbs in the Present tense ? With these 60 Boom cards your students practice their knowledge of 10 irregular French verbs in the Present on their computers or tablets. Here are the included verbs : Avoir, être, voir, sortir, prendre, croire, venir, devoir, faire, aller. A very simple conjugation exercise to assess knowledge, learn or practice the present with these crucial irregular verbs. Students type in the right answer - French spelling is tested also ! You can easily project these or use on a smart board for a class exercise. The French keyboard is not active on this set you have to type yourself.
