We all know how students get excited on holidays: Christmas, Valentine's, Halloween, and Thanksgiving! Through these activities, not only will they have fun working together or individually to solve the puzzles, but they will also have the opportunity to practice reading latitude and longitude coordinate grid systems (absolute location). Each moment is a teaching moment, and this holiday resource will allow reinforcement of their map reading skills. Students will use the absolute locations that are provided on the key and identify the points on the coordinate grid, drawing one line from one point to another. End the end, they have a photo to color and decorate!

For this activity, you and your students will need access to Google Sheets. For best use, each student should have their own device.

Each Pixel Art includes 3 levels of varying difficulty. Level One includes NO EXPONENTS. Level two includes exponents. Level three problems are lengthier and tend to be the most difficult to solve. Each level has 19 problems, meaning in each Pixel Art, there are 57 total. So for all 9, you're getting 513 Order Of Operation Problems!
