Alice à Paris is such a great video series to use in your French classes - the episodes are short and there is a lot of cultural information in each one. But you can do so much more than just watch the videos - why not use them to enhance reading, writing and vocabulary skills? This item has activities for level 2 and up. The following activities are included:

• A plot synopsis in French, in the present tense with comprehension questions in English.
• A plot synopsis in French, in the past tense (passé composé, imparfait, and any others as grammatically required) with comprehension questions in French.
• A copy of the plot synopsis in the present tense with an activity to rewrite the paragraph in the past tense.
• A post-reading activity page - fill in the blank with missing words and a word bank, put the events in the correct order (in English), match the item with the photo.

This is a set of 25 cards for practicing and mastering BON - BIEN - MEILLEUR - MIEUX. This set of cards uses bon and bien as well as their comparative forms meilleur and mieux, but also a whole lot more (see below). That's why this stack of cards is great for upper-intermediate and even advanced students!

This resource is included in my Bon - Bien - Meilleur - Mieux Bundle.

This resource does not incorporate the superlative. When using meilleur and mieux, we are really focusing on how to say "better" in French. This is always so hard since we use the same word in English whether we are using adverbs or adjectives. I have also made a 45 minute video that you can find on YouTube that would be perfect to show before pulling out these cards which I made specifically to accompany this very comprehensive lesson.

This lesson plan includes a story with targeted structures that can be repeated to give your students lots of repetitions. Comprehension activities to use after the story will allow you to engage your students and makes sure that your French lesson is truly comprehensible input.

Joe is a potato, and he's lonely. He's got a plan to find a girlfriend - but will it backfire? There are four targeted vocabulary structures that are used multiple times throughout the story. The targeted structures are:

This very simple story is told in two different ways. There is a printable text version, and an animated mp4 version. Tell the story as you watch it (pause if you want to stop and discuss or storyask!), or just watch it for comprehension. The video is just over 5 minutes long, with pause time for students to read the text. There is a second version of the video with only the illustrations - no text - so you can watch it and do story retells. With novice low and novice mid learners, you can tell the story as is. French Relative Composed Pronouns - LEQUEL - AUQUEL - DUQUEL

7. Crossword Puzzle: When students create a crossword puzzle, they actively engage with the vocabulary words. They must think about the meanings of the words, consider their spelling, and create clues that correspond to each word. 8. Magic Square: Learners must analyze the available options and find the correct matches. This process stimulates critical thinking, encourages logical reasoning, and enhances cognitive skills, all while reinforcing the vocabulary.

The King is hungry! He wants an egg for breakfast...but not just any egg. He wants the biggest egg possible. How will the cook be able to keep the king happy?

This item includes a pre and post viewing activity worksheet for students, a teacher instruction page, a story script and an answer key as well as a link to the video. Also includes a link to a Textivate activity and printable gap fill and jumbled sentence activity.
