Alice à Paris is such a great video series to use in your French classes - the episodes are short and there is a lot of cultural information in each one. But you can do so much more than just watch the videos - why not use them to enhance reading, writing and vocabulary skills? • A plot synopsis in French, in the present tense with comprehension questions in English.

This is a worksheet/lesson (with answers) on jobs and professions in French. The resource can be used to introduce new knowledge or reinforce prior knowledge. It features a list of jobs categorised into cognates, near-cognates and non-cognates, numbers (1-20) and the verb “to be” in the present tense. These Activities to accompany French Duolingo Podcast Episode 75: Le Chasseur d'Orages will help your students with their listening comprehension skills while also entertaining them.

Each podcast is in both English and French - so even novice-high students can enjoy the stories. The podcasts are approximately 24 minutes long and are available for free on the Duolingo podcast site. This set of activities it meant to accompany episode 74, which is the story of a man whose love for weather and storms led to a career as a weather photoographer.

The activities include both pre- and post-listening activities. To prepare your students to listen to the podcast, you will find:

• vocabulary list
• vocabulary matching activity
• links to vocabulary set on Gimkit, Blooket and Quizlet so students can practice
• a crossword puzzle to practice the vocabulary

During the podcast, students can take notes on the sheet provided in the activity if you wish them to do so.

J'utilise personnellement ce document avec mes élèves de 5e et 6e année comme révision et comme segway en valeur décimale; cependant, ce serait un excellent point de départ pour l'apprentissage de la valeur de position et des grands nombres en 3e ou 4e année. Comme pour tous mes documents, il n'y a rien de bébé/enfantin, donc ce document fonctionnerait super super bien pour les élèves en adaptation scolaire qui manquent de concepts de leurs années d'école primaire.

Dans ce document, j'enseigne pas à pas à vos élèves comment lire et interpréter les nombres, comment décomposer les nombres, comment connaître les positions et les valeurs des positions, l'équivalence dans les valeurs, comment trouver la forme standard des nombres. Les manipulatifs sont encouragés et utilisés pour aider à fournir des visuels et un apprentissage authentique. Les calculs monétaires et les blocs de base 10 sont fréquemment utilisés dans ce document. Les élèves reçoivent de nombreux exemples et stratégies modélisées et ont ensuite la possibilité de les pratiquer avec un partenaire ou de manière indépendante. Si vous (ou vos élèves) avez du mal à saisir la valeur de position, ce document est ce dont vous avez besoin pour prendre votre temps en vous assurant qu'il est bien compris avant d'avancer dans votre programme. C'est mon premier concept que j'enseigne chaque année à mes élèves de 5ème et 6ème. Cela nous prépare tous au succès.

Perfect PDF for those that do not know any French at all. Everything in this PDF includes the French with the vocabulary lists. This is an excellent resource for homeschoolers who need a French credit but have no language background. Also a great lesson for substitutes or fast finishers. Can be used as independent reading for FVR on day 1.

These Activities to accompany French Duolingo Podcast Episode 82: Un jour de commémoration will help your students with their listening comprehension skills while also entertaining them.

Each podcast is in both English and French - so even novice-high students can enjoy the stories. The podcasts are approximately 24 minutes long and are available for free on the Duolingo podcast site. This set of activities it meant to accompany episode 82, which is the story of a man who organized a commemoration for the victims of slavery under the French colonial system.

The activities include both pre- and post-listening activities. To prepare your students to listen to the podcast, you will find:

• vocabulary list
• vocabulary matching activity
• links to vocabulary set on Gimkit, Blooket and Quizlet so students can practice
• a crossword puzzle to practice the vocabulary

During the podcast, students can take notes on the sheet provided in the activity if you wish them to do so.

After listening, students can do the comprehension questions. There is a set of 10 questions, in both English and French to check for understanding. There is also a page with 10 true and false questions and 10 fill in the blank questions.

If you would like the students to read the complete transcript of the podcast, you will find it on the Duolingo Podcast site.
