This lesson has been created to include key information in a easy to read manner with visuals to support information retention. Depending on the age, developmental level and key learning needs, Teachers, Parents, School Counsellors and other Allied Health Professionals should use their insight and judgement to determine whether the information contained in this lesson is suitable and appropriate for each individual student.

This FIGURATIVE LANGUAGE STATIONS activity is a fun and effective method for giving students practice at analyzing the most important types of figurative language. Students will develop the skills not only to identify types of figurative language but also to explain how figurative language contributes to the meaning of a literary text!

Students will learn about figurative language while gaining exposure to the most profound and thought-provoking quotations from the world's greatest writers! If you're searching for effective ways to explore sampling strategies in your AICE Environmental Management class, I highly recommend utilizing this engaging educational resource: a comprehensive booklet and an interactive crossword puzzle activity.

In the first phase, students will create a booklet that encompasses essential components for each sampling strategy, including sketches, description of the method, its advantages, and limitations.

In the second phase, the crossword puzzle serves as an engaging tool to assess students' understanding and retention of the sampling strategies they've explored.

This dynamic educational activity effectively addresses key concepts outlined in the syllabus for Unit #2, which revolves around Environmental Research and Data Collection.

This activity help students identify the dependent, independent and constant/standardized variables of an experiment. The activity starts with a review of what each of the three variables represents and continues with a list of environmentally related topics for which students must identify the independent, dependent, and standardized variables.
