Do I need to use a specific Bible Story Book?

No! While I prefer to use The Beginner’s Bible Timeless Children’s Stories by Zondervan with these lessons, they are not required. You can easily use your own favorite Bible Story book, Scripture, or simply read the Bible Summary in the actual lesson that retells the Bible story.

Statement of Faith:

I believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God. I believe that Jesus is fully God and fully human, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life and paid the penalty for our sins through his death on the cross, resurrected on the third day having victory over death. I believe in the trinity, that God is existent in 3 separate persons - God the Father, the Son, and Holy Spirit. I believe, as Calvary Chapel states, “that all people are by nature separated from God and responsible for their own sin, but that salvation, redemption, and forgiveness are freely offered to all by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Sometimes, we as teachers are the only ones in their lives to "make it a great day" and are the only ones that can make these special occasions special to them. Your students will love these geography-themed Valentine's Day cards and laugh at the play on words using country names. Your students will have a blast figuring out what each Valentine's card means and sharing them with their classmates.

How to Print:

• Print off Valentine's cards on cardstock and cut out
• If printed and cut correctly, fit A2 4.3/8 x 5.3/4 envelopes (if you choose to use envelopes)
• If you wish to or your school district allows, glue or tape a wrapped candy to the card.
• Do not forget those students who have allergies or eat differently and are dairy-free, soy-free, gluten-free, or GMO-free. "Enjoy Life" brand candy, cookies, and treats meet all these requirements.

As students are learning the 41 - primer sight words in this product, they will be provided with each word, an example of the word used in a sentence, and the opportunity to make up a sentence themselves using the word. I find that with my students who are Deaf/hard of hearing/ELL, when they make up sentences using each newly learned sight word, it helps them to remember how to spell the word, the meaning, and how it is used. My students love booklets of any kind that they can refer back to. Once they have come up with their sentences, they can include pictures that they print and cut out, draw pictures freehand, or find pictures in a magazine that they can add to each page of the primer sight word booklet that matches each sentence they come up with. This gives students the opportunity to connect what they are learning about in the classroom with their own personal interests. This booklet is perfect for students that are on grade level as well as students who require instructional information to be adapted.
