I feel like I can never have too many ways to have my students practice the French verbs être and avoir. The present tense conjugations are tricky to master, and it's equally important to know when to use them because it's frequently different in English.

Être - Present Tense French Tic Tac Toe Games - No Prep Printable

Tic Tac Toe is a fun game that your students already know how to play, and it is a simple way to get them conjugating, writing, and speaking the French verb être in the present tense.

This resource includes two worksheets with 6 tic-tac-toe grids per page. One worksheet is for speaking answers, and the other one is for writing them. Photocopy on the front and back for a no-prep set of 12 grids for differentiated learning.

Students play in pairs, conjugating être so that it agrees with the subject pronoun in each box, saying answers aloud or writing them to claim squares on tic tac toe grids. Three correctly conjugated verbs in a row wins the game. Students need to use different colored pens or markers when writing their answers.

This is a worksheet to use while reviewing verb tenses with your advanced French students. It's great to use as a challenging AP or French 4 review.

9 tenses are represented in this worksheet: présent, passé composé, imparfait, futur simple, futur antérieur, plus-que-parfait, subjonctif, conditionnel, conditionnel passé.

There are 20 sentences to complete. The correct verb tense and infinitive are in parentheses. This quiz is to assess written formation of the different tenses, and not necessarily when to use each of them.

Aller - Present Tense French Tic Tac Toe Games - No Prep Printable

Tic Tac Toe is a fun game that your students already know how to play, and it is a simple way to get them conjugating, writing, and speaking the verb aller in the present tense.

This resource includes two worksheets with 6 tic-tac-toe grids per page. One worksheet is for speaking answers, and the other one is for writing them. Photocopy on the front and back for a no-prep set of 12 grids for differentiated learning.

Students play in pairs, conjugating aller so that it agrees with the subject pronoun in each box, saying answers aloud or writing them to claim squares on tic tac toe grids. Three correctly conjugated verbs in a row wins the game. Students need to use different colored pens or markers when writing their answers.

This is a set of 75 cards to have your students practice choosing between partitive, definite, and indefinite articles with food and drinks.

All cards are written in the present tense and use the same food vocabulary found in my 20 questions game that also is great for reviewing the French partitive.

Each card has a sentence in which students fill in the blank using the correct article. Verbs of preference are used for definite articles. There are plenty of expressions of quantity and negation used in this set of practice cards.

These cards are only in French, so they are suitable for core French or immersion classes.
