Summer themed Color by CVC Word puzzles covering short a, e, i, o, and u word families. Each color by word puzzle features 4 to 5 CVC words for a vowel family in two difficulty levels for 10 puzzles total. I've included both a picture clue set and a word clue set. In the picture clue set, students look at the picture of the word and then find the corresponding word to color. In the word clue set, students have the CVC word to look at and find the matching word to color in the puzzle. No prep! Just print and go.

Each summer-themed printable comes in two versions for differentiated learning: one version is a cut and paste, the other is a fill-in-the-blank version with a word bank for more advanced students. Cut and paste versions work well for preschool and kindergartners working on scissor skills, while the word bank version gives older kinders, first and second graders practice at writing and identifying the parts of the life cycles. Ocean Measurement Activity | Measuring Length with Nonstandard Units

Make teaching measurement fun with this Ocean Measurement Activity.  Students will measure the length and height of ocean animals using non standard units.  No prep Google Slides™ and Sessaw™ activities with a matching printable black and white mini book.

Students will love using the links to measure these adorable ocean animals.  Use the digital activity for an example in the whole group, or for distance learning.  This activity is also perfect for centers.  Students will be eager to measure everything around them!

Measuring in the Ocean
