This set has 24 colorful themed measurement cards (on 14 pages). Each card is labeled "A, B, C, etc.." and a recording page is given to match. The 24 cards are provided in 2 sets of 12 with each set having a different color border for recording sake. Students circle which set they are using on the recording sheet. The recording page allows for the student to fill in the unit of measure they are working with, unifix cubes, cm. cubes, beans, paperclips, inches, centimeters, etc... so it is very open ended to suit the needs of your curriculum and students abilities. You can print the recording sheet double sided (early finishers) and ask them to measure using 2 different units of measure.

Get your students up and moving as they measure objects using non-standard and standard measurements. Students will measure the length, height, weight, and capacity of common things found in the classroom.

You will receive a set of 20 worksheets and vocabulary cards for this unit.

-draw objects taller, shorter, heavier, or lighter than me

-measure using unifix cubes and paper clips

-order objects from shortest to longest

“Turkey Time” is a fun game for kids to work on their telling time skills to 5 minutes. Players move around the game board by drawing a time card and setting that time on the turkey and pumpkin clock. They then roll the die if they’re correct and move that number of spaces.

Included in this game...

• 15 movement cards (1 blank to add your own) with optional backs

• Cover/directions

• 20 digital time cards

Suggestions: Print the turkey and pumpkin clock on card stock and laminate. Print the game boards on paper, mount inside a file folder and laminate. Also, be sure to laminate the cards for durability and print on card stock if possible.

Additional Materials Needed: You will need player tokens for each player. I use miscellaneous ones from games no longer used. You will also need one die (dice).

Both analog and digital clocks are covered in these kindergarten telling time worksheets! To begin practicing with convenient activities, just print the kindergarten time worksheet.

Students in kindergarten and first grade can benefit much from practicing with these clock worksheets. Worksheets for practicing with analog and digital clocks are both supplied. All you need to have some simple, no-prep fun with your kids is to print them off.

The activities include:

• Match the digital clock to the analog clock with hands showing the same time – to the hour
• Connect a digital clock to the analog clock with matching times – to the half an hour
• Apple draw the hands on the clocks to show the time – hours and half an hour options
• Ice Cream draw hands on the clock to reflect the correct time – to the hour and 1/2 hour
• It’s time for the eggs to hatch. Find and color all the clocks that show 3 o’clock
• Bath Time! Color the analog clocks that show 7:30
• Buzy Bee: Write the time shown on the clock
• Read the digital time and color the clock with the matching time
• Write the time for each clock – Look at the analog clock and write the time shown on the digital clock
• Sandbucket Half Past the Hour – Learn to represent time on the clock by saying how much past the hour it is
