Nonstandard Measurement Center HALLOWEEN COSTUME PARTY Set includes 24 FUN & ENGAGING Task cards for measuring length. Students use nonstandard or standard units of measure (metric or customary), so it's great for Kindergarten through 5th grade! Great for an ongoing math station, just change it out with one of my other seasonal/holiday sets to keep it fresh and engaging!

This set has 24 colorful themed measurement cards (on 14 pages). Each card is labeled "A, B, C, etc.." and a recording page is given to match. The 24 cards are provided in 2 sets of 12 with each set having a different color border for recording sake. Students circle which set they are using on the recording sheet. The recording page allows for the student to fill in the unit of measure they are working with, unifix cubes, cm. cubes, beans, paperclips, inches, centimeters, etc... so it is very open ended to suit the needs of your curriculum and students abilities. You can print the recording sheet double sided (early finishers) and ask them to measure using 2 different units of measure.

January/Winter Line Plots: Read a Line Plot & Measure & Create Your Own

These January/Winter line plots are perfect practice on reading and creating a line plot. There are two different line plots. The first line plot has students look at the snowfall for the month of January and answer 6 different questions using the line plot. The second line plot has students measure snowflakes to the nearest quarter inch and record their data on a line plot that they draw. Then answer 6 questions on the line plot they have created. So students will need a knowledge of using a ruler to measure to the nearest quarter inch to finish one of the line plots in this product.

You will receive a set of 20 worksheets and vocabulary cards for this unit.

Thanksgiving Telling Time Game to 5 Minutes

“Turkey Time” is a fun game for kids to work on their telling time skills to 5 minutes. Players move around the game board by drawing a time card and setting that time on the turkey and pumpkin clock. They then roll the die if they’re correct and move that number of spaces.
Included in this game...
• Game board (2 pages)
• Clock w/ hands
• 15 movement cards (1 blank to add your own) with optional backs
• Cover/directions
• 20 digital time cards
Suggestions: Print the turkey and pumpkin clock on card stock and laminate. Print the game boards on paper, mount inside a file folder and laminate. Also, be sure to laminate the cards for durability and print on card stock if possible.
Additional Materials Needed: You will need player tokens for each player. I use miscellaneous ones from games no longer used. You will also need one die (dice).
