By That One Cheerful Classroom
Are you looking for a unique, interesting, and hands-on way to practice time and money for your students? A lapbook is a book made from a file folder that includes various information about a topic. Students can create a lap book by cutting, coloring (when needed), and gluing them inside a file folder. The finished file folder book is called a lapbook because the book is usually big enough to spread out on your lap to read.
Lapbooks do not come with specific assembly instructions. Students are to use the information to build their books creatively and uniquely! This is a fun way for students to learn and get hands-on with the information!
All of the hard work is done for you. Just print the pieces, give each student one file folder, and let your students get creative!
