Famous African American Inventors & Innovators Reading Comprehension Passages

Celebrate Black History Month using this set of 10 of the most influential or Famous African American Innovators and Inventors Reading Comprehension Passages. Passages are designed for students in grade 3, 4, 5, and 6.

It’s perfect for EFL / ESL students at the B1/B2 level and can also be used for native English classes at grade levels 5 - 7. With low prep, just print and hang, it contains 10 reading passages about 10 Influential African American Women in History.
The scavenger hunt is designed so that students have to revisit and reread the reading passages multiple times when looking for code words.
