These Editable Parent Newsletters are monthly newsletters that you could give to parents to communicate about their child's progress in school. They are like take-home notes that you could give to students to bring home to their parents or if the parents pick up their child at school, you could hand them over personally. It is a great way to keep the parents updated on their child's performance. A blank monthly parent newsletter template is also provided so you can put your categories.

The format is in PowerPoint, and the newsletters are in PNG format, so you can edit them. To edit, open the file in PowerPoint, click on "INSERT," look for "TEXT BOX," and type in the text box.

What grade level:

I personally use these texts with Grade 1 and Grade 2 students in French Immersion. I feel confident that students from Kindergarten to Grade Three will find these most useful and teachers can come back to the texts with any students who may be experiencing challenges in their French reading skills. Core French teachers will be sure to add the resource to their repertoire for Grades 4 to 6 as they learn to read and write at the Junior level.

This ten-station All About Me-themed Gallery Walk will introduce a slice of humor into your first day or week of school! Students will get to know each other, you as teacher will get to know your students (and plus they will think you are SUPER cool).

What needs to be prepared?

• Print ONE set of station cards, and print one coloring sheet and answer recording sheet per student. You can also print the student and teacher instructions if you feel it's needed. This is a very printer-friendly product, as everything but the instructions are in black and white!
• Cut the 10 station cards in half, then display them on tables or walls or wherever you want to play the game.
• Hand out the coloring sheet and answer recording sheet to each student
• Read everyone the directions and have fun! (for a fun bonus make it a pizza party!)

How do we play?

Students visit each of the ten stations. They read the All About Me question and choose an answer. Then, they mark the answer on their recording sheet. Each answer correlates to a pizza ingredient. Once all stations are completed, students will have 10 ingredients total ( . . . and maybe some of them are grosser than others). These are the ingredients they use to draw and color their goofy pizza on the included coloring sheet.

These are Fall/Autumn-themed labels for your classroom library! If you are looking to do an fall-themed classroom, these would be a great addition. This product includes large labels for bins for 6 different genres and 1 blank label to add whatever you'd like and mini labels to add to your books. Each mini label shows the same picture that is on the large label along with an abbreviation for the genre (Example - Historical Fiction = HF). I would recommend laminating the labels if that is possible to have them last for years!
