This resource is designed to help students practice the “Dollar Up” Strategy with a fun Halloween theme. Students are provided with visually engaging real Halloween product images. Students are asked to identify the item price, the dollar up amount and circle how much money is needed. Product amounts are from $0.50 - $12.75. 1 & 5 bills are used.
This resource is great for tracking IEP objectives for life skills and vocational skills.

Bookmarks to Color The Raven Quotes by Edgar Allan Poe Book Markers Activity

Using coloring bookmarks with quotes and illustrations can be a wonderful way to engage readers and explore the themes and characters of the story. Here are some ideas on how to use them in your classroom, library, or at a book club:
1. Book Club and Classroom Discussions: Use the bookmarks as prompts for book club discussions.
2. End-of-Term Gifts: Consider gifting the finished bookmarks to students at the end of the term as a personalized and meaningful memento of their time in your class.
3. Use bookmarks book club member rewards/gifts.

Fun Facts about Halloween WebQuest & Word Search Puzzle

In this lesson, students learn fun facts about Halloween as they complete a WebQuest (Internet Scavenger Hunt) to answer questions about the topic. A complete answer key is provided for easy grading, along with resources for both teachers and students. Fully editable MS Word file, suitable for printing or to let students complete digitally. Additionally, a word search puzzle (with answer key) is included, perfect for early finishers or to use as a part of the lesson. This lesson was designed for middle school (grades 6-8) but could be used in upper elementary as well.
This lesson is great for distance learning/remote learning. You can upload it to your school's learning management system (Google Classroom, Edmodo, Canvas, etc.) or share with students via Google Drive.
